Measuring 38" tall, including a decorative arch, this gray metal safety gate conveniently helps contain children and pets while complementing your home decor.

The gate fits openings ranging from 29.5 to 53 inches wide, and a variety of included extensions allow you to configure the ideal setup for your space. Install it quickly and easily in doorways or hallways using the included no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups that help protect your walls from damage. Alternatively, you can use the gate at the top or bottom of stairs with the included hardware (required for safe stairway installation).

The 20-inch wide door can swing both ways, and it stays open when engaged at greater than 90 degrees. When opened less than 90 degrees, the door auto-closes, and a stopper prevents it from swinging over stairs when installed at the top. The door locks securely to keep babies, toddlers, and pets contained, with narrowly spaced bars that prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can easily open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up on the door.

Please note that the safety gate may appear bent at first, but this is not a defect, and it will be corrected upon proper installation. Additionally, this gate will not fit openings measuring 33-33.5", 37-37.5", 41-41.5", 45-45.5", and 49-49.5".
