Grand Tour Soup Plate

With its deep well and wide porcelain rim, the soup plate becomes a sculptural frame for the Pietra dura influenced motif. The layered decal technique gives each botanical a dimensional, inlaid appearance that serves as a beautiful vessel for both simple broths and more elaborate dishes.
