Seckel Pear Tree

One of the earliest American pears from the mid-1700s. Tiny but tasty fruits with a slight blush, and very firm flesh. Ideal for baking, canning, and poaching.

All of our pear trees are offered on OHxF 97 root stock. OHxF 97 leads to "standard" fruit tree size, 18-20 feet high, and is a vigorous, hardy root stock that boasts resistance to fire blight.

Partially self-fertile, a pollination partner is not required but we recommend to cross pollinate with Harrow Sweet, Hosui, or Olympic Giant.
