Tulip 'Akebono'

'Akebono' means "daybreak" in Japanese and the name is fitting: These buttery yellow, blousy blooms produce coral-edged petals reminiscent of dawn's first light on the horizon. Outer petals are marked with an occasional raspberry blush and the flowers are sweetly scented. Reaches 22" tall.
